Quite possibly the perfect laminator for any midsized or large print production house. This laminator has full top heat capability – up to 250 degrees, allowing the user to run cheaper hot lams when available. More importantly, since the market has primarily shifted to pressure-sensitive applications, the operator will be able to run materials in a heat-assist or ‘warm’ mode with temps ranging from 110-150 degrees depending on the application. As an example, it is often difficult to get smooth lamination on top of UV curable inks. By increasing the roll temperature to 140 degrees, the film and adhesive ‘wet-out’ and fill the voids left in the UV ink surface. It is a fast machine, it can mount on very thick substrates, and it is easy to operate with swing out supply shafts. Want to learn more? Give us a ring and we’ll talk about it. (216) 662-7474.
